Sakura Sakura Tokyo Part 3 - Disneyland & Sea

Day 2 started off with a little drama with cloie and me. Can't wake her up in the morning for disneyland because I planned to go there by 830am which is their official opening hours. Yes, sounds kiasu but can't blame me it's a Friday and you know how crowded is Disneyland tokyo.

Cloie holding her JR ticket.
It's really cold today about 5 degree celsius, took a 6 min walk to Tokyo Metro Higashi Ikebukuro. The subway cabin were full but we quite our way in with our stroller and big backpacks. Btw, subway station usually have lift that goes to the platform so no problem for stroller. After 30 mins or so, we reached Shin-kiba to change to JR line to reach Maihama which is just 6 mins.

On JR Platform...

Check out this site if you stay near major train stations to get to disneyland http://www.tokyodisneyresort.co.jp/tdr/english/plan/access/train.html

I am a person who really afraid of crowds so imagine the panic attack i got when I see the amount of people around Maihama station and also the amount of people heading towards disneyland. :(  We went straight to the disneyland thinking to get my pre-booked tickets near the entrance...

The long walk into Disneyland and the never ending flow of people going in...and next photo, see the queue behind my father in law...and yes please noticed my sian face while waiting for the guard to find another english speaking one to help us.

So wrong, never read properly - The pre-book email mentioned "Collect your tickets at the welcome centre" After finding out from service personnel from the entrance , Hui and me have to walked back to the train station to check where is the welcome centre.  I tell you...can die....walking out over the bridge to the train station takes nearly 5 min but with me feeling panic it's like forever...

Anyway, give u the direction now. After you come out of JR Maihama station on your left it's Ikspari - a shopping mall, the welcome centre is 1 floor down by stairs on the right of Ikspari main entrance.

Welcome Welcome to the magical world of Disney...WooHoo!!!
Taking pictures with the characters...Pinocchio

Guess who's prince is this? Cloie is so happy this prince called her princess and she feel like one!!!

Another character, Cloie loves...Ahoy!! Captain Jack Sparrow...This guy really handsome and humorous like the reel one...

Bought these ear muffs for the kids...it's on discount and comes with a neck scarf as well, Josh don't like it but wear it for the picture.

We didn't intend to take any rides because of the number of people in the queue...so the plan is just walk around enjoying the place then buy popcorns and shop around...Missed out quite abit on the rides and attractions but well, if we really went to q like we did for a kiddy rides we probably missed out much more.

Entering Cloie's dream home....The Princess Castle

*Magic portion that heals all little girls sickness*
Make Her a Princess...

The dumbo rides for the dumb-bos..
We queue for 2 hours for this ride, well all for the kids and great training on my arm muscles when Josh fell a sleep.

My parent in law enjoying bonding time with the kids...See 幸福 written all over their face :)

It's a small world behind them

Feeling all Goofy here...

Dizzy on Miss Daisy (Donald's boat house)

Car rides make Josh easy to please...

Some rest and popcorns

Glorious Mickey Food

The Ultimate Monster Inc. Bucket Q-ing marathon

The Colorful Disney Parade - The Best I seen from far...

After the parade, we decided to shop around disneyland before proceeding to disneysea after 6pm to enjoy the discounted entrance fee.
We took the Disney Resort Line and left our shopping bags in their station locker so we have lesser loads.

DisneySea after 6pm is nearly half price @ 3100 yen for adult and child. Main aim is to get to The Mermaid Lagoon.

In Mermaid Lagoon there are more play rides and area suitable for Cloie and Josh.

It's freezing at night @ DisneySea, we wanted to venture over to Jasmine's castle which is across the mermaid lagoon. When we went over, we realised there are nothing much to see already @ 7plus and it's raining so we went to the Casbah foodcourt to see what they have for dinner.
Finally, my first curry rice in Japan.
Remember 6 yrs ago in Tokyo, I had subway curry rice almost everyday for a meal and I crave for it since Day 1 i reached Tokyo.

After our curry dinner in Casbah Foodcourt

Time to say Bye Bye to Disneyland & Sea...

Both Hui and me were totally shag out but seeing Cloie chirpy like before soothe the ache on our body, see Josh sleeping soundly in his stroller on our way back gave us a pat on our back. Seeing my in law accounting today's events assured us that they are happy throughout which we thought it's boring for them.
